Sprouted Chana Stir

Fry – a tasty evening snack for people on weight loss / weight management diet. Sprouted chana is also beneficial for hair and skin.

Ingredients

  • Sprouted Black Chana – 1 cup
  • Tomato – 1, chopped
  • Onion – 1, chopped
  • Green chilli – 1, chopped
  • Coriander leaves – ¼ cup, chopped
  • Lemon juice – 2 tbsp
  • Crushed black pepper – ½ tsp
  • Mustard seeds – ½ tsp
  • Red chilli powder – ½ tsp
  • Chaat masala – 1 tsp
  • Black salt – 1 tsp
  • Olive oil – 2 tsp

Method

  • Heat 2 tsp olive oil in a pan. Add the crushed black pepper and mustard seeds and let it splutter.
  • Add the chopped onion and green chilli and saute well. 
  • Add the sprouted chana and saute for 2-3 mins. 
  • Add the red chilli powder, chaat masala and black salt. Mix well and then add the chopped coriander leaves. Saute well and cover with a lid. Cook on low flame for 5 mins.
  • Add the chopped tomato and 2 tbsp lemon juice. Mix well and cook for a min. 
  • Serve hot.
